When you have to keep telling yourself to remain calm during a photo shoot, you know it was a good one, and that’s exactly what I had to do during Sara & David’s engagement session. As we walked around Sara’s parents’ GORGEOUS property I couldn’t help but get excited about juuuust about E V E R Y shot I took. It was one of the first days this Spring that truly had the feeling of summer, and the evening light that surrounded us made this light-chaser’s soul happy.
These two are an absolute JOY to be around. David is such a strong and kind presence, and Sara’s sweetness could lift anybody’s spirits. Together they have the silliest, happiest, most lovely dynamic - the kind that I can picture them still having 50 years from now as they sit by the pond sipping sweet tea, joking & laughing together and not being able to stop the smiles that spread across their faces when they look at one another.
Sara will become David’s Mrs. this October, and I’m overjoyed that I’ll get to share in the amazingness that day will bring. For now, though, here are a few of my favorites from their engagement photos. <3
