Jordan & Sierra {wedding}

Sierra & Jordan married on one of the most beautiful evenings of autumn this year. The sun was shining, the air was still holding onto a bit of summer’s warmth, and a cool breeze blew through every few moments. From getting ready at the hotel all the way to the last dance, every moment was a memory these two will get to hold on to for years to come. Sierra’s bridesmaids rallied around her to keep her calm and happy, and Jordan’s groomsmen kept him laughing the whole time. Considering that Jordan’s flight arrived in Cincinnati only a number of hours before the wedding, there were a lot of things that could have gone wrong, but they simply didn’t - the beginning of their lives together was marked by a smooth, exciting, happy day.

Bridal portraits happened at the most perfect time of day… the sun was setting, and the spot they had chosen at the Harbin Park overlook was stunning. The first look left us all with happy tears in our eyes, and during portraits the quirky bridal party left laughing ones. Both Sierra and Jordan seemed to fall into a complete calm when they were able to get away alone for their photos. I could tell that they truly adore being in one another’s presence, and it was an honor to photograph them.

The heartfelt, romantic ceremony was full of smiles and tears once more.

Once the formal reception events had taken place the evening ended with some of the best dancing I’ve experienced at a wedding reception, and “happily ever after” began for these two. Mr. & Mrs. Riley, I wish you nothing but absolute joy and love in the many years you’ll spend together. May the happiness & celebratory spirit of this occasion carry through each and every day <3

Thanks for letting me be a part of your day, you two.
